The Next Meeting:

Our next meeting on Monday 2nd October will be the Group's Annual General Meeting. (details in the Newsletter). After the formal business, trophies for the winners of the highest aggregate points in the monthly competitions will be awarded. Finally Liz Livermore will give a short talk based on the 2016 Group Outing to Birmingham Botanical Garden.

There is no charge for attending the AGM and we will not be holding a competition this month

Speaker meetings resume on 6th November when Peter and Jackie Murray will be giving a talk on Snowdrops (see below for the new season's programme). Meetings are from 19:30 to 21:30, with the speaker beginning at 20:00. Entry is £2 for Group members, £3 for visitors and free for children and students; this fee includes refreshments.

Details of November's Monthly competition will follow when the website is updated after the AGM

Please note that the April meeting will be on the second Monday to avoid Easter Monday. There will be no monthly meeting in May or June - instead  we will be holding a one day conference on Saturday 12th May.
