Alpine Garden Society Bedfordshire Group

We are a small friendly group of Alpine enthusiasts founded in December 1986 and still going strong almost FORTY years later.

We meet on a Saturday afternoon at the Weatherley Centre in Biggleswade. Check out the dates here

Meetings start at 2.00pm, with the speaker starting at 2.30pm, and the afternoon finishing at about 4.00 (after tea / coffee / biscuits and a chat).

How to find us

Annual membership costs £10.00 for singles, £15.00 for joint membership and £2.00 for students and juniors.

Unfortunately, due to rising costs, we have had to increase the capitation fee at our monthly meetings. From December 2025 it will be £3 for members and £6 for non members. The fee includes tea or coffee and biscuits (and sometimes cake!).

NEW! Our winter series of ZOOM talk in association with the Mid Anglia AGS Group starts in DECEMBER. Dates, titles and speakers on the meetings page. The talks are free for members of the Bedfordshire, Mid-Anglia and Norfolk AGS Groups. We invite Non-members of these groups and would appreciate a small donation.
